- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I recently utilized the services of Mrs. Wheatley as a GAL per an order from the court to represent my minor child in an effort to settle a long domestic dispute. She spent very little time with my child and myself and settled for a phone interview with the father. If I could rate this law office with less than 1 star I certainly would do so. She failed to full investigate the situations alleged by my child and also had a strong opinion of both parents even though she had never personally met one of them and her time with me was limited to 30 minutes. She was biased, made no reasonable effort to learn the facts, review the absent parents criminal record or confirm the child's wishes and do what was in her best interest. Her written report provided to the court was tacky, distasteful and opinionated and lacked any credibility to her apparent research. I strongly advise anyone looking to hire a GAL to represent their child NOT to consider this attorney. There are many other attorneys in the area who will provide a much more thorough review and take the time to learn the facts and listen to your child, Mrs. Wheatley will not do so.By Jaidyn Calvert, February 05, 2017
